Kinetic Energy - The energy a body has when it's moving along
E = 1/2 x mass (kg) x velocity squared (in meters/second)
Gravitational potential energy - the energy something has due to it's height above the earth
E = Mass (kg) x gravity x height (m) (where gravity is 9.81)
